summer is here again at last

Well summer looks like its here again at last and my time out on the sup has increased from a few hours per month to a few sessions per week again. It’s easy to forget how enjoyable it is to be out on the water paddling like a lunatic for a few hours. Aberdeenshire has […]

November sessions

Session tomorrow @ Cruden bay beach

The forecast is looking good for a session tomorrow evening at Cruden bay. 15mph wind and a bit of sunshine. I’ll have small kites with me for anyone that wants to try out a bit of kiting for the first time and there’ll be a BBQ as well (bring your own food and beer).

St Combs beach lagoon

Access to Cruden Bay beach :)

For anyone that hasn’t noticed, we now have easy access to cruden bay beach thanks to the bridge being open again. No more hauling boards buggys and kites over the golf course or through the river wooooohoooooo

Bridge

Good news the ladies bridge will hopefully be open again at last sometime next week so access to the beach will be easier. No more trekking across the golf course or wading through the river.

Spending a lot of time on the beach always provides great photo opertunities. Here’s a few taken when the wind dropped off and stopped the kiting for the day.

Happy new year

Whatever kite sport you’re into I hope we get a good year for us all. A year of big airs, high speeds and big grims. See you on the beach Posted with WordPress for BlackBerry.
